Pam always knew the right thing to say and do. She was clever, full of common sense, kindness and always worked hard at whatever was put in front of her.
However, it was always her precious family who were always at the forefront of her mind. Their happiness and well being were always her focus and she was selfless in this respect. They always came first. Always. Andy and her boys were the lights in her life. She cherished her family unit.
We saw her pride in her boys as they grew up and became lovely accomplished young men. She said she always saw herself as the lioness, protecting her cubs.
Nothing gave her more pleasure than to see them settled with good jobs and she was so happy when Emma joined the family. She loved looking at wedding venues and it's heartbreaking she won't be there physically but she will be there in spirit for certain. Nothing will stop her.
Pam was also a kind friend and lovely manager. She cared about people and their happiness. She also loved a fun night out with a cocktail or two and we used to have lots of laughter. Some of it about very naughty things. How we all howled together.
That is how I will choose to remember her on our last trip out in the summer. Sitting outside high up on the terrace in Abode in Chester, Cocktail in hand, the late evening sun shining on her happy face, all of us laughing together and having a great time talking about anything and everything, with not a care in the world x
